my life story in a minute
Timothy Lange
I hail from North Bend, WA, originally. Raised in a tight knit group of friends and family, I spent my childhood playing Super Smash Bros, reading Narnia, and building with Legos. I had severe asthma, so it was only natural that I developed my imagination and creativity to account for my limited mobility. I got older. I started writing and drawing, and my family bought a PC. Games like Command & Conquer, Age of Empires, and Counter Strike became my obsession. My asthma receded somewhat, and I started to explore all the beauty nature had to offer. With my home nestled up against the Cascades, I got to enjoy mountains, waterfalls, and deep forests. This environment made a strong impact on my person, and I am still drawn to the mystery and majesty of the wilderness to this day.

Later in life, I stumbled my way through college until finally realizing I didn't want to be an engineer. Instead, I transferred and got my degree in Software Development. Even now, I see programming as a series of puzzles with many different pieces. I love figuring out these puzzles and watching code click into place, but it is a means to an end. That end is game design. It took me most of my life to figure this out and work up the courage, but now I am taking the plunge and making video games.
